Mahindra United's new recruit Mijin to don No 10 jersey

FootbalL giants Mahindra United have signed Serbian Svetozar Mijin from Romania's top division Club FC Politehnica Iasi.

"The football here is at a good level though it is lower than in Europe. We can get good results," said Mijin who will wear the No 10 shirt and will join the squad for the IFA Shield in Kolkata.

Mijin (30), is a towering central midfielder, who has also has played for another Romanian first division club, CFR Cluj. Mijin is new coach David Booth's fifth signing this season following Denzil Franco, K Aseem, Muritala Ali and Subhodeep Mukherjee.
