Desai claimed 11 wickets in the match (6-22, 5-11) and was assisted by Sagar Sawant. Sawant, who had scored an unbeaten 181 for the Matunga school, chipped in with three wickets.
In another match, Rizvi Springfield beat SMD Bhatia by an innings and 429 runs thanks to Abhishek Yadav’s four-wicket hauls in each innings.
