A theatre to screen movies for athletes and officials at the Commonwealth Games Village will open Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said.
"The theatre will open tonight and I hope everybody likes it," Dikshit told IANS as she toured the Village with Delhi Lt. Governor Tejinder Khanna.
She said Delhi was ready for the games. "I met some athletes and they are very happy with the place," Dikshit said.
Around 5,500 athletes and officials are already in the sprawling Village for the Oct 3-14 Games. Over 1,200 more are expected to check in Friday.
