Atlanta FC dished out a good, fighting display to put it across Hugh Fernandes Academy by a narrow 1-0 margin in a keenly contested second division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League played at St Xavier’s ground, Parel yesterday.
Pritam Rana struck the all-important winning goal for Atlanta. The two other matches of the day turned out to be one-sided affairs with GKW Rangers defeating Naseeb Reloaded by a convincing 4-0 margin and Classic FC outplaying Tata Power by five goals to nil.
