When Federer was asked by Switzerland weekly CoopZeitung whether he liked to party and who was his favourite player with whom he likes to party, the 19-time Grand Slam champion said, "It's always funny with Stan Wawrinka. When he is ready, he gives full throttle. Whether the other players are party animals, I cannot judge. You meet [them] more on the tennis court than on the dance floor."

Federer also spoke about the hangover he had in 2005. "After the victory in the final of the 2005 US Open, I had a problem that was not so funny. I only felt fairly normal again on Thursday," he said.
