Odense: India's top-ranked shuttler and World No 7 Saina Nehwal failed to get past World No 2 Shixian Wang in the Denmark Open Super Series quarter-final here yesterday. Nehwal lost to her Chinese opponent 20-22, 15-21 in 45 minutes.

In the men’s category, K Srikanth too failed to beat World No 7 Wan Ho Son in his quarter-final, losing in straight sets 21-23, 17-21.
