Saina hopes to put row behind

Saina Nehwal wants to escape the lingering effects of an ill-timed row about facilities at the CWG by living up to her billing as favourite for the women's badminton singles gold.

Nehwal had said that they had "not been up to the mark in comparison to the Games held in Melbourne and Beijing".

"It is not good on my part to say that, as lots of people follow me," repented Nehwal.
