The All India Carrom Federation and Vidharbha Carrom Association will be organising the Freedom fighter Padmabhushan Naganath Anna Ayakwadi Krantiveer Cup 42nd senior national and inter-state carrom championship for men and women hosted by the Indian Social & Research Foundation at Vasant Desai Stadium, Akola from February 26 to March 3.
The tournament will feature individual participants from across the country besides teams from institutions like Indian Airlines, LIC, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, RBI, etc.
The tournament will also serve as a selection trial to pick the Indian team that will participate in the upcoming SAARC Championships and Asian Carrom Championships to be held in Kolkata in May.u00a0
