Williams takes on Germany's Angelique Kerber in the Australian Open women's final today. It doesn't sound like the lifestyle of a superstar with millions in the bank, but Williams says it's the price of fame. "I don't really leave my house so much, even in Florida or LA or Paris. I kind of just stay at home a lot," she said.

"It will go away soon. But for now, you know, I'd rather have this than something else because it means I'm doing well." Earlier in the week, the 34-year-old admitted that she is no good at diving into swimming pools.

"I'm terrible. I go feet-first. I hear it's head first or arms first. That's how bad I am," said Williams, who was watched by some of Australia's greatest swimmers during her semi-final win over Agnieszka Radwanska.

"But I'm working at it - work in progress," she added. Williams was born on September 26, 1981 at Saginaw, Michigan but her current residence is Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA.
