The 26-year-old NBA star made the announcement just before the Lakers took on the Golden State Warriors in an exhibition game on Thursday night in San Diego.
The report said that Vujacic popped the big question to Sharapova at his Manhattan Beach, California home with a diamond ring.According to Vujacic, Sharapova said "yes" to his "old-school" proposal.

We are engaged and are both really happy. It's good and now we can focus on other things," he told the paper. A wedding date has not been set.u00a0
The couple have been dating for a year after first going public with their relationship last November at a U2 concert at the Los Angeles Staples Centre. Sasha spoke about why their relationship works so well.
"As two pro athletes -- in different sports -- we both understand what the other is doing and going through, and what it takes to do well in what we do," he told NBA Fan House."She's working hard. I'm working hard. It's good together," he signed off.
