On a high after a successful Davis Cup campaign recently, India's rising tennis star Somdev Devvarman beat Yannick Mertens 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 in the ATP Izmir Challenger yesterday. 
The Chennai champion cruised through in the first set, but Mertens bounced back to win the second one.
However, India No 1 regained his focus to win the decider 6-4.
