The first State prize money carrom tournament will be held from November 24 to 26 at NM Joshi Marg Municipal Secondary School in Lower Parel.
The event is also open for member players of Carrom Player Welfare Association, Maharashtra. The men's singles winner will receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25,000, while women's singles winner will receive Rs 15,000.
Prize money of Rs 500 will be awarded for break-to finish and black-to-finish from the quarter-finals.
