Tanay's twin strike tames GD Somani

Christ Church 'B', Byculla striker Tanay Shah scored a brace in win over GD Somani, Cuffe Parade to stroll into the MSSA quarter-final of under-14 Division IV at Azad Maidan yesterday.



However, Christ Church coach Dominic Rosario wants local football to grow further. He would like to see more initiatives like Junior Soccer Challengeu00a0-- started by Member of Parliament, Milind Deora.

"I am happy that these kids have several amenities at their disposal. But there are several not-so-lucky ones who despite being good don't have a platform to display their skills," he said.
