Banglore: The fastest woman in the 10K category, Morocco’s Malika Asahssah will be hoping to break her 30:58 minute record in her maiden appearance in the eighth edition of the USD 194,376 TCS World 10K here.

More than 25,000 runners, including 100 elite ones, will be participating in the race on May 17.


The elite line-up also includes defending champion in the women’s category Kenya’s Lucy Kabuu and Guye Adola. The Indian runners include defending champion BC Tilak, holding a course-time of 30:26, 2014 Delhi Half Marathon winner Suresh Kumar and International Cochin Half Marathon winner Lakshmanan G.



Among the women, race day will witness defending champion Swati Gadhave, winner of the 2015 Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, Kavita Raut, Monica Athare and Surya L.
