Roman Reigns defeated his opponent Chris Jericho in the title match for the United States championship on Monday Night Raw's main event, while Bill Goldberg made another return to the show.

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, best of friends as they are, got on the wrong side of Mick Foley after their team up at Hell in a Cell against Seth Rollins. For Survivor Series, Foley intended to add someone more dependant to the Raw Men's team which was Roman Reigns. This irked Jericho, who then challenged Reigns to a match.
After Kevin Owens interfered in the match, the two beat up Reigns with the crowd then chanting for Seth Rollins. Reigns' former Shield partner Rollins then made an entry and beat up Owens and Jericho, thus rescuing Roman Reigns as the event closed.
Goldberg made an entry to give a fitting reply to Brock Lesnar after he speared Lesnar's manager Paul heyman. Goldberg also hit a 'Jackhammer' on an interrupting Rusev to display his dominance. Goldberg will face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.
The Brian Kendrick, who won the Cruiserweight title from TJ Perkins at Hell in a Cell faced him again in a title rematch. He went on to purposely lose the match via countout, but the title did not exchange hands.
Charlotte, after winning the Raw Women's Championship at Hell in a Cell, came to address her opponents at Survivor Series, the Smackdown Live women's roster including Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Alexa Bliss. She also addressed the weakest link in her Raw women's team - Bayley. Afterwards, Nia Jaxx entered the ring to face Bayley and overpowered her entirely.
The New Day vowed to live up to their name after they were announced as the Team Captain for Raw's Tag Team roster at Survivor Series. Enzo Amore defeated Luke Gallows in a Trick of Street Fight match.
Cesaro and Sheamus defeated the Shining Stars in their tag team match.
