Sheboygan (Wisconsin): Former champion Tiger Woods moved into contention in the last major of the year as he finished his delayed second round at the PGA Championship to lie at three under here on Saturday.

However, there was no such fortune for defending champion Yang Yong-eun as the Korean, playing alongside Woods and Vijay Singh, missed the cut after finishing with two double bogeysu00a0-- the cut came at one-over par 145.

Colin Montgomerie, three time major winner Padraig Harrington and reigning British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa also missed the cut.

Woods had three birdies on the back nine for a two-under 70 and is at three-under 141, five strokes back of leader Matt Kuchar.
