Tiger woods will return to Australia to defend masters ufffd the last event he won before his sex escapades became public

Tiger Woods will return to Australia to defend the Australian Masters title he won last November, golf's World No 1 said on his website yesterday.

Woods' win last year was his 82nd title and gave him a victory on every continent on which golf is played. This year the November 11-14 tourney will be played at Victoria Golf Club. Last year Woods closed with a 68 for a two-shot victory over Greg Chalmers before record crowds.

It turned out to be the last tournament he played until the 2010 Masters in April, as a mysterious November 27 car accident led to revelations of marital infidelity that prompted him to take a five-month break from the game.
