World team gold medal-winner Ashok Shandilya missed a double century break by a whisker, in the SPG-Park Club Open Billiards Handicap Tournament yesterday.

Playing his second Group C tie with a -600 handicap, Shandilya, who was earlier shocked by Hasan Badami of CCI, made amends with the tournament’s highest break of 196 en route a 250-68 win over junior state champion Nikhil Saigal of Khar Gymkhana.
