Canadian Police arrested and charged 3 Indians in connection to the Khalistani Hardeep Nijjar Murder Case. The arrested men are Karanpreet Singh (28), Kamalpreet Singh (22), and Karan Brar (22). The murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a separatist campaigning for the creation of Khalistan, an independent Sikh homeland. The investigation is going on into whether the arrested men have ties to the Indian government. Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in June last year outside a Sikh temple in Surrey, a Vancouver suburb. The trio was arrested in the city of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada on May 03 (IST).
