India, New Zealand sign landmark air services agreement

India and New Zealand signed an air services agreement to boost connectivity, tourism and trade between the two nations. The pact opens the doors for direct flights between the two nations. President Pranab Mukherjee, who is in New Zealand, said it will have a significant impact on the 174,000 Indians living in the island nation.
