At least four people have been rescued from flood-hit Jalore’s Shivpura village. One army column has also been deployed in the district's Sanchore area. Unprecedented rains continue to wreck havoc over normal life. Several villagers have been forced to shift to safer locations while major damages were caused to property, crops and livestock. The Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter on Tuesday dropped three tonnes of relief materials in three villages of Jalore including Mguda, Bhatwas, Chantalvadha. The relief material was supplied from Jodhpur Air Force Station to several flood-hit areas.
