A foot-over-bridge in Vashi collapsed on 7th October while it was being dismantled by the PWD workers. The incident took place near the near the Vashi Police Naka. No one was injured in the incident except the driver of the crane who suffered minor injuries. The incident led to traffic congestion and Mumbai police prompted commuters to take an alternate route. Usage of a poor capacity crane was said to be the reason for the incident. Watch the video.
