According to the MMOPL (Mumbai Metro One Private Limited) officials a bird hit had occurred at the Marol station towards Ghatkopar and there was a sparkle that was noticed at the overhead wires and rains hence as a precautionary measure the services were hit for more than half an hour on both sides.
Some passengers had to get off at Sakinaka stations and had to take the roadways to reach their destinations on time.
