Radio City Super Singer, Season 8, India’s biggest singing talent hunt reached its crescendo with a grand finale in Mumbai. The season of Radio City 91.1 FM’s marquee property presented by LuvIt Chocolates, saw six weeks of competition across the city. The Sajid-Wajid duo crowned the winner from Mumbai among the top five finalists, competing for the title and cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.

Avaiz Darbar was crowned the winner. Sajid-Wajid said, “We were glad to join hands with Radio City as jury members. We want to do our bit to ensure that musical talent gets its due. This is also the foundation of our Taaleem Studio, a one of its kind institute for singing and musical training.” Keeping in mind the national brand campaign, Rag Rag Mein Daude City, the theme for this year’s competition was Jinki Rag Rag Mein Hai Singing that brought forth some great talent.
