Art and experimentation go hand-in-hand and that's what Delhi-based sculptor Arunkumar has done in his work, Seeds of Reckoning
The artist has used a diverse variety of seeds and leaves, applied on the walls of the room in which the installation is temporarily housed.

The idea is to envelope the viewer in an environment of familiar and unfamiliar plant forms. Using the room as a space for experimentation, the artist regards the seeds as both metaphors and literal references for the future.
The artist has also used sugar cubes and discarded plastic bottle caps in the project, which he hopes will help generate awareness about the effects of genetic engineering, the legality of patenting seeds, and the drastic impact of agricultural monopolies on the reduction of seed and plant types.
