Buzz is that even Aamir Khan cannot go ahead with his plans for his next 'Dhoom 3' without the producer signing off on them

Aamir's plans are awaiting Aditya Chopra's approval

Aamir Khan apparently wants to repeat the formula that he implemented in the run up to his film 'Delhi Belly' that starred his nephew Imran, for his upcoming release, 'Dhoom 3'. Buzz is that the star wants to hold focus group screenings for the film, to take in suggestions made by select audiences and later incorporate it into the final cut.

However, insiders say that the film’s producer Aditya Chopra may not give in to his request.

Says a source close to the actor, “Aamir is known for his penchant for perfection. He took a lot of time before releasing 'Delhi Belly'. He had done the same with Imran’s film and hopes to do the same with 'Dhoom 3'.”

An insider from the production house says, “He has already forwarded his request to Adi but he is not sure the producer will agree.”

Express delivery
The shroud of secrecy around his next film, 'Dhoom 3', has been so thick that Aditya Chopra is leaving no stone unturned in fiercely guarding the details of the Aamir Khan starrer.

Aamir has been shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s film in Delhi and Adi apparently has decided to send his messenger bearing the first draft of the film’s trailer for the star’s eyes only. The reason allegedly to send someone personally carrying his package is to prevent the details from being hijacked.

Says a source, “Aamir is involved in taking the marketing decisions around the film’s promotions. Someone from Adi’s studio will personally escort the package to the actor.”
