Abhishek Chaubey denies rewriting 'Ishqiya' sequel script

The sequel of Abhishek Chaubey's Ishqiya was slated to go on the floors this month

However, recently there was buzz that the shoot has been delayed. The reason given for it was that the director was reworking on the script. However Chaubey slams the claim and says he is still to finish writing the script, and adds that hence, the question of rewriting it doesn’t arise.

The director points out, “I will be going for a recce to UP and hopefully we will be shooting the film in and around Lucknow. We have already finalised the cast but since I am about to wrap up the shoot of my current film, I did not get enough time to complete the script of Der Ishqiya.”
