It has worked well in his favour when he first played the character of the bratty Sunny in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi which won him accolades in comic role categories.

The actor then went on to essay the character of the sleazy Sunny in Housfull 2. Keeping this in mind, the makers of the Housefull franchise have decided to have Akshay Kumar play Sunny again in the third installation, Housefull 3, as well.
