The 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' actor has teamed up with ace designer Manish Malhotra to get a perfect look for the occasion. "It is a huge honour for me to be representing our cinema at Cannes. I am not going there as a brand ambassador but going there for my movie.

Manish and I have decided that since I am representing the country on a global platform, it would be perfect to be dressed in something that's truly desi. I think nothing looks better on an Indian woman than a 'saree' or 'lehenga'," Ameesha said in a statement here.

She has to walk the red carpet in the morning and the premiere of her film is at night, so there will be two outfits for the 37-year-old. "Keeping in mind Ameesha's complexion and personality, we have given her something very Indian," Manish said.

Talking about her look, Manish said black and white, being classic colours, have been incorporated in Ameesha's outfit that is high on Kashmiri and 'chikankari' work. "We have also kept in mind the summer trends internationally." 'Shortcut Romeo' is directed by Susi Ganesh and will release on June 21.u00a0
