An Acquired Taste, who decimated his opposition in the Eve Champion Trophy on this track nearly four weeks ago, has been ambitiously entered in the Grade 3, Idar Gold Trophy, the main event of today's nine-race card.
Though the Altamash Ahmed-trained four-year-old has failed on every occasion in the past whenever he has tried to go beyond ten furlongs, there is a good chance he will emerge victorious thanks to his current superb form.
Ocean And Beyond and Spearhead, the two older horses who have given proof that they can stay this gruelling trip, are the ones he will have to beat. A Sandesh will ride An Acquired Taste.
