Annamalai varsity's distance education last date extended

The last date for issue and receipt of filled in applications for admissions to various programmes offered by the Directorate of Distance Education of Annamalai University has been extended till December 2 for the convenience of the students, vice-chancellor of the varsity, Dr M Ramanathan, announced yesterday

The last date for issue and receipt of filled in applications for admissions to various programmes offered by the Directorate of Distance Education of Annamalai University has been extended till December 2 for the convenience of the students, vice-chancellor of the varsity, Dr M Ramanathan, announced yesterday.

He added that all degree and diploma courses offered under the distance education mode are duly approved by Distance Education Council and University Grants Commission.

A 50 per cent fee concession will be offered to alumni as well as present students for enrolling additional programme.

More than 4.5 lakh students have enrolled with the Directorate of the Distance Education. It also offers scholarship to SC /ST students as per government rules and aid to differently-abled students.
