A man who bought a BlackBerry phone on eBay discovered the contact details of 50 top stars in its address book.

Devey found numbers and e-mails for actors Kevin Spacey, Jude Law, Julie Walters and Natalie Portman on the u00a316 bargain. The device also has contacts for writers and producers on films like Star Wars II and Billy Elliot.

Said Kent, "I wanted a BlackBerry so I could receive emails, but I never expected I'd be able to email A-list celebrities. It hit me when I scrolled through and saw the names of Jude Law and Sir Michael Gambon."
Insurance worker Kent called Julie Walters' number to see if it was genuine u2014 and got through to her answer phone.
He thinks the phone's old owner was a film producer and it was sold in error. He plans to return it via Working Titles Films.
A spokesman said: "We'll offer him a replacement."
