Skipper Hatim Kapase, Obedth Misal and Juzer Dhinojwala scored a brace each while Adil Khan netted a goal in the 39th minute as Christ Church dominated throughout. The Byculla outfit will take on Don Bosco (Matunga) in the quarter-final.

“We were under pressure as Activity had won their last match against Saifee 5-0. I told the kids to be ready for a tough match as we did not have four of our main players. u00a0

“The team had promised me that they will play their best and win. I am glad they kept their promise,” said Christ Church coach Nilesh Rao. Meanwhile, Christ Church skipper Hatim said: “Playing Bosco’s isn’t going to be easy. We are ready for the challenge as we have nothing to lose.” u00a0
