However, the gutsy teen didn't get intimidated by her assailant and held on to him and kept shouting for help till the time a few passersby showed up to help.
According to a complaint lodged at Khadak police station, Sunita Tambe (name changed to protect identity) was returning home from work and was walking near PMC colony at Kashiwadi in Bhawani Peth.
"The enraged girl abused him and asked him if he would have asked the same question to his sisters. The boy lost his cool and started molesting her," said officials at Khadak police station.
Theu00a0 boy identified as Sagar Shankar Sadekar (19), a resident of Bhawani Peth came up to her and offered her money to sleep with him. The accused pushed the girl around and hit her on the face and also pressed her chest while trying to rip her clothes off.
The girl showed courage in not letting him go and running away.
"A few men came rushing and caught hold of the guy but he had hit her quite a lot and we took her to Sassoon Hospital to treat her for her injuries," said the constable on duty.
