Crackling chemistry onscreen

Thanks to a spate of love stories, we get to see some hot jodis on the small screen

Here's looking at the jodis that rock the small screen with their sizzling chemistry...

Arnav-Khushi (Iss Pyaar ko kya naam doon)
When the slick, smart and serious Arnav Raizaada (Barun Sobti) meets the small town chatterbox Khushi (Sanaya Irani), there's instant chemistry. Their love-hate relationship has oodles of passion to make them arguably the most sizzling couple on the tube.

Kunal - Siddhi (Parichay Nayi Zindagi Ki)

His prospective sister-in-law becomes his bride with his brother's sudden demise. The marriage of convenience is developing into a tender love story between the handsome Sameer Soni and the sweet Kirti Nagpure.

Ram Kapoor-Priya (Bade AcHche Lagte Hai)
They are the answer to the mid-age singletons. The marriage of convenience, which is slowly but surely turning into a beautiful relationship is dealt with reasonable maturity and fine performances by Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar.

Dr Ashutosh-Dr Nidhi Varma (Kuch Toh Log Kahenge)
The age factor deftly dealt with in this love story is inspired from the Pakistani hit show Dhoop Kinare. The suave doctor (Mohnish Behl) and his vivacious intern (Kritika Kamra) set the stage for a love story with a difference.

Mona-Anukalp (Ram Milaye Jodi)
When the naughty Punjaban (Sara Khan) meets the silent Gujarati (Sujay Reu), there are fireworks for sure. Though the show is high on its drama quotient, it's the lighter moments between the lead pair that wins the day.

Simar-Prem (Sasural Simar Ka)
Did they marry, did they not? The marital confusion took its time to sort out. Meanwhile the love story between the good-looking couple (played by Dipika Samson-Shoaib Ibrahim) won its share of audience.

Jethalal-Daya (Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah)
He (Dilip Joshi) may eye another woman but finds camaraderie in his equally funny wife (Disha Vakani). Expect the unexpected from this popular couple.

Akshara-Natik (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai)
Three years and this love story where the couple (Hina Khan - Karan Mehra) discovers love after marriage is still going strong.

Viren-Jeevika (Ek hazaaron mein meri behna hai)
This cute couple's (Krystal D'souza - Karan Tacker) inability to find time and space for themselves brings its own sets of problems. Interesting watch!

Tej-Toasty (Saas Bina Sasural)
Fitting into an all-male house with the able support of her loving hubby (Ravi Dubey), Toasty (Aishwarya Sakhuja) wins hands down in her endeavours to keep the family together.

Iccha ufffdVeeru00a0 (Uttaran)
The child woman Iccha (Tina Dutta) loved, lost and again found her man (Nandish). And the love story with twists and turns galore continues...

Indira Sharma-Rishi Kumar (Hitler Didi)
The tough exterior has a heart too. Hitler Didi (Rati Pandey) and her soft corner for her tenant (Sumit Vats) are generating a lot of interest for sure.

Dev-Radhika (Choti Bahu)
Their love story has stood the test of time, literally speaking. The on-screen lovers (Avinash Sachdev - Rubina Dilaik) carried their love off the sets too and now are back with the second season of Choti Bahu. Love revisited!

Anandi-Jagyau00a0(Balika Vadhu)
Child marriage, adulthood and now adultery, this couple has braved it all. And despite there being another woman on the scene, the audience hopes Jagya (Shashank Vyas) sees sense and returns to Anandi (Pratyusha banerjee).

Unusual Pairings
Roli-Siddharth (Sasural Simar Ka): The younger Anandi of Balika Vadhu (Avika Gor)transforms into a beautiful damsel with this show. Grappling with marital mess, the awkward situations she finds herself in with an unexpected marriage with villain turned hero (Manish Rainsinghania) to boot has a few laughs and touching moments.

Mohan Bhatnagar-Megha Vyas (Na Bole Tum na maine Kuch kaha): This new show has a simple widow (Akanksha Singh) and a carefree journalist (Kunal Karan Kapoor) in an unusual love story.

Anjali-Shyam (Iss Pyaar ko kya naam Doon):
She's (Daljeet Kaur Bhanot) pretty and lovable, while he's (Abhaas Mehta) the vicious schemer out to eliminate her. A dangerous love story for sure.

Tapasya (Uttaran):
Forever in a scheming mode, Rashmi Desai and her pairing with the righteous Gaurav Chopra makes for a thrilling twosome.

Vikram-Neha (Bade Acche Lagte Hain): Lending able support to the main protagonist, the chatty Neha (Tarana Kapoor) and Vikram (Jai Kalra) are different personas but completely in love.

Dr Ranganath-Ashi (Kuch Toh Log Kahenge): The flirtatious doctor (Vishal Malhotra) and his designer muse (Ishita Sharma) are as different as chalk and cheese but attracted to each other nevertheless.
