Tour de France legend Mark Cavendish's model wife Peta Todd revealed how online haters trolled their children — Delilah (five) and Frey (one), and said that they should get cancer and die in pain. Todd said how Cavendish received abuse in response to a video of their son Frey.

Recently, Cavendish suffered abuse online after a dramatic accident in the Tour de France saw him crash out and his rival Peter Sagan disqualified for elbowing him. When he posted a video of his son, one of the online users wrote: "I hope all your children get cancer and die in pain." But Todd was not the one to take it lightly. She highlighted the comment and asked: "Really? Is that ok?"

Cavendish (32) questioned trolls and wrote, "Vile and threatening comments on social media to myself and my family isn't deserved. I'd ask you all to respect that and please not send threatening or abusive language to myself and my family." Michelle Froome, the wife of yellow jersey winner Chris Froome, also revealed her family had been targeted by similar trolls. "Dealt with the same for the last 5 years," she wrote in the comments section.
