Cyrus Sahukar and the befuddled Randhir Gambhir in Aisha have a lot in common. Even in real life, the young VJ-actor is a little confused about love and relationships. Looking forward to the release of his next film, he talks to CS about love and breakups:u00a0

Proposals and me
I suck at proposals. But I have been really lucky that relationships have just happened to me. Truth be told, I am really shy around someone I like. So, if I break into a cold sweat, pretend like you don't exist in the room or manifest my most boring self ever, people know that I am in love with you; thinking about picnics with our two children who will hopefully look like you, and praying for you to come up and make the first move.

Lessons from the exes
I have had three major relationships in my life. All the women were fabulous and superbly nutty. But then, I wouldn't have had them any other way. Luckily, the breakups were amicable, so my friendship with them never ended. We catch up over the phone once in a couple of months. The girls I dated will always be very important to me. Having zero contact with someone you cared for deeply is similar to a tragedy. But I do understand that sometimes it's better not to pick up the phone and ask someone how they have been. Now I realise that I always expected my partners to be logical, when they were more emotional in nature. You know, my exes tell me now that I am a much better ex-boyfriend than I was as a boyfriend.

Breakup woes
You know there is trouble when you find yourself freaking out over the fact that she won't even make you a cup of tea after you've returned from a nightmare day at work! And suddenly everything you say becomes a sexist remark. That's how a six-year live-in relationship ended. I said to my girlfriend, "If you can't even make me a cup of tea, how can we ever work this out? You're just so selfish!" That's it, we broke up. So you see, after the honeymoon period is over, small things start irritating youu00a0-- a toaster that you never got fixed or how she makes fun of you in front of her friends. Very rarely will you come across breakups that took place because of infidelity. It will most probably be your toothbrush that you keep forgetting in the sink that'll get the credit for the breakup!
