John Abraham has been shooting for Abbas Tyrewala's 1-800-Love in London for over a month now. He is yet to complete the remaining portions of David Dhawan's Hook Ya Crook, which he had started long before the other film. Unavailability of the actor's dates has now led to the movie release being postponed to March 2010.

Later
A source reveals, "John is unhappy with HYC and so hasn't given them more dates. All David's calls to him have remained unanswered. The movie to release this December. But some portions have are still to be shot. Time will also be required for the editing and promotions. Davidji had a word with the production house and they have decided to postpone the movie to next year."

Taking a call
Says David, "John injured his leg. He has to be physically fit to shoot for my movie as it deals with cricket." Was unavailability of dates the reason for postponing the film? He says, "Not the dates, but his physical fitness is required. I will start shooting, not when he returns from shooting, but when he is fit. As far as the release dates are concerned, the production house takes the call."

The source continues, "Due to the recession, the cast (including John) was also asked was asked to slash their remunerations drastically, to as much as 50 percent of what they had initially been offered. After all the cuts, not to mention the hard work put in, Abraham expected a lot from the film, but is unhappy with the final outcome. So he doesn't want the film to release just yet. He wants to time it in such a way that he has another release quickly after it, to dilute the effect."

The other side
UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor says, "We are currently working out our forthcoming production schedule, so we'll lock a release date only when we have clarity on this."
