India captain MS Dhoni will now be able to purchase a 9 mm pistol as he has been given an arms licence for weapons of prohibited bore.
"The central home ministry two days ago told us that Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been given prohibited bore arms licence," Jharkhand Home Secretary J.B. Tubid told reporters yesterday.
He said the central home ministry had made some queries and the state government had replied to them, following which licence was issued to Dhoni.
