New Delhi: Hitting out at the Congress Party for disrupting the Parliament, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday said the grand old party is entering the 'political chakravyuh,' which would boomerang on it and cost it heavily.

"Somewhere, the Congress Party is getting trapped itself into the political Chakravyuh (squared planning). It is not aware of the fact that disrupting the House and the developmental works of the country would boomerang and would cost heavily to the party itself," Naqvi told the media outside the Parliament.

"I feel there is still time left and the Congress should do introspection, and allow the passage of the pending bills," he added.

Commenting on the disruptions on the name of the 'political vendetta' in the National Herald case, Naqvi said 'After observing the whole scenario I feel that there is something wrong in all that is happening (Herapheri gadbad jhala, kuch na kuch to hai ghotala). There is so much of cacophony because something is wrong here.'

When asked if the Goods and Services Tax Bill was listed for passage with a week left for the Winter Session to conclude, Naqvi said that the GST was listed.

"There are several other bills listed for passage including the GST and the Prevention of corruption Bill," he added.

The Rajya Sabha was again adjourned amid Congress protests against National Herald case.

The Rajya Sabha, where the Congress enjoys a numerical advantage over the BJP, was repeatedly adjourned over the National Herald case after Congress members rushed into the well, shouting slogans. "These protests should not be linked to GST," said Congress Leader, Anand Sharma.
