As present-day Indians, we will never know what the Berlin Wall and its ramifications meant to Germans.

But what we can do is reflect on that historic period through an interactive 3D installation titled ReConstructing the Wall by artists Tamiko Thiel and Teresa Reuter.

Using techniques like simulation, animation, interaction and time travel to reconstruct a kilometre of the Wall and bring history to life, these artists attempt to put you in a time period dating to the mid-1980s, you can also travel back and forth in time.

Using a joystick, you can navigate this virtual world where you make your own choices and decide where you stand as someone who has to live in the shadow of the Wall.
