Johannesburg:

Sven Goran Eriksson's side go into Sunday's meeting with five-times World Cup winners Brazil on a high, having nullified Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in a 0-0 draw in their opening match.

A point against tournament favourites Brazil would give the Elephants every chance of qualifying for the last 16 with a win over North Korea in their final Group D game.

And Manchester City skipper Toure said his country would embark on the mother of all parties if Eriksson's men were able to hold Brazil.

"They would go crazy," Toure told an African website. "People have a hard life in the Ivory Coast so we need to give them reason to cheer and reasons to smile.

Nobody will sleep for days if we manage to nick a point against Dunga's team. "It would be something really special to get a positive result against Brazil and I must say that even a draw would make my country come to a complete standstill.

"Brazil aren't unbeatable and our chances lie in the tactic of not giving them any space on the ball, while at the same time trying to seize any goalscoring opportunities that come our way.

"But have to be careful, because Brazil are unbelievably good on the break and they can punish you severely. We were unquestionably drawn in the most difficult group in the World Cup, and we'll have to play like hell to qualify for the next stage," he said.
