B-Town stars are used to having eager-beaver fans land up on their sets or at events, angling for a meeting with them to take snapshots with them. One-film-old Nargis Fakhri (yup, she has her fans too!) always makes it a point to interact with her fans. On several occasions however due to security reasons she is unable to do so, especially when the crowd gets unruly.
The Rockstar actress however recently met a fan that left her pleasantly surprised. While Nargis was shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s film with John Abraham, a young girl’s mother got in touch with one of her team members.
Says a source close to the actress, “The girl and her mom were in Mumbai from Sweden and keen to her. When the team informed them that she was shooting, the next day the duo reached the shoot location. Nargis’ team was taken aback as they hadn’t revealed the shoot location to the two, still, they managed to find out.”
Caught between shots, Nargis was unable to meet them. But this young fan and her mother seemed quite persistent. They were tailing her. Adds the source, “After a few days, Nargis was shooting for a brand endorsement in the suburbs when the team was contacted once again by the little girl’s mother.
They were keen to meet their favourite actress before flying back home. This time Nargis ensured she took a break in-between shots and spent time with the two. They even watched a few shots of the commercial.” Incidentally, last June, one of Nargis’ Singapore-based fans Vicknesh Rai got an opportunity to interact with her when she was there for an awards event through her micro-blogging site.
