Arjun Rampal explains why the 'Rock On!!' sequel is yet to take off
Arjun Rampal is certainly in the mood to reprise his role from the musical drama Rock On!! but looks like Farhan Akhtar is the reason why the sequel on the 2008 film is yet to take off. Apparently, Farhan’s extremely busy schedule to prep for his recently released film had clipped the chances of the movie taking off in the last two years.

Says Arjun, “Well, you see Farhan has been very busy running for the past two years. We haven’t been able to catch him and talk about Rock On!! 2. We tried but it was impossible to match his speed. Now, that he has finally stopped, we can talk at leisure about the film.”
Incidentally, the sequel of the film that contributed much to the Bollywood careers of Arjun, Farhan and its director Abhishek Kapoor was announced back in 2011. Arjun had then said he was willing to pay in order to clinch a role in the film. But soon after, Farhan got busy with his Milkha Singh biopic that allegedly affected his other projects as well.u00a0
