Golfer Adam Scott has been known to be quite a playboy having dated tennis ace Ana Ivanovic and Hollywood star Kate Hudson in the past besides his long-time girlfriend Marie Kojzar, with whom he shared a constant on-off relationship.

However, the World No 2 golfer, who on Saturday fired a five-under 67 and made a birdie on three of his last four holes to get even-par at the US PGA Players Championship in Florida, revealed he married long-time girlfriend Kojzar in a secret ceremony in Bahamas on April 17.

The US Masters champion revealed the news of his marriage on American TV show CBS This Morning. “It’s embarrassing but flattering. I’m not single at all. I’m very much in a relationship and very happy for the moment,” said Scott.

“We just decided to get on with it, we’ve known each other long enough, let’s go and jump right in the deep end. It was just our family and a few friends at a very low key affair,” added the Australian, who needs to get 16th place in Florida to wrest the World No 1 spot from Tiger Woods.

Kojzar was a nanny
Scott (32) first met Swedish architect Kojzar, when she was working as a nanny for fellow pro golfer Thomas Bjorn in 2001, but split with her seven years later. The couple got back this year.
In 2009, Scott was photographed with actor Hudson having a fun time at Hawaii’s beaches. He however claimed they were “just good friends,” even as Hudson was said to be dating actor Owen Wilson. Later, Scott was reportedly involved with tennis ace Ivanovic. Interestingly, then Ivanovic was supposed to be dating Spanish tennis player Fernando Verdasco.
