A week after a major fire broke out at Lotus Business Park in Andheri, the Fire brigade department is yet to submit a detailed report.
The fire department claims detailed investigations in this case will take time as various factors in this case have to be examined. It is likely to submit the report on Monday.
The initial draft report states that a defective electric circuit caused the fire in the central server room on the building’s 20th floor. The fire that broke out on July 18 around 9.45 am injured 20 firemen and claimed the life of one firefighter.
Chief Fire Officer (in-charge) AN Verma said, “The cause of fire written in the draft report currently states that it could be because of a defective electrical circuit, as the electrical wiring was not done properly.
The fire started in the central server room.”
