Four tourists from Maharashtra killed in Tamil Nadu road mishap

Tirunelveli: Four tourists from Maharashtra were killed and 12 others seriously injured when their bus, parked on the roadside near here, was hit by a goods lorry today

The bus was carrying 38 women and 18 men from Pune and other parts of Maharashtra when the lorry hit it, police said.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital and the lorry driver arrested, police said.

    What can you expect when certain rules are not followed. Accidents like this is a very common in India. Parking anywhere in the night, no tail lights, no warning accessories for other motorists that there's something on the way stopped. Most vehicles small or large almost don't have tail lamps working. In the night it is very dangerous situation on the road. The dividers are unmarked, Side guard rails are missing or non-existent. I saw last year on Jammu highway. The most drivers are blue collar
