After successful tours in Japan and Finland, it is time for Jessica Wolf, the gorgeous new face of Rock, to grace stages across India. The artiste will be traveling to five cities across India including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Bengaluru, where she kicked off the Renegade Tour yesterday. Wolf will be promoting her new album, Renegade, that will soon be launched in India, as part of the tour.
The Finnish artiste is excited to be in India. Speaking to us ahead of her first Indian gig in Bengaluru, the artiste, said, “I’m very excited about coming to India. I look forward to having a lot of good and different experiences here.”
But coming to India was not always a part of the plan. Wolf shares that the India tour is a result of her bumping into an Indian executive while watching a band’s performance at an Irish Pub in France. And planning the trip in a short notice, was equally challenging. The artiste, in fact, wrote on her website that getting everything together had been like a circus. But thanks to a strong team, it’s been going well for Wolf, she added.
Th artiste started playing piano at the age of seven, and begun singing classical music when she was just 12 years old, but she found her way to Pop / Rock music just a few years ago. And at the age of 21, she left her studies to focus on a full-time musical career. Her music is high on energy, guitar-driven and spiced up with everything from catchy melodies to thought-provoking lyrics. “I admire a lot of pop music stars in my life, and I’m especially inspired by artistes like Pink Floyd,” says Wolf, adding that she also is a big fan of Justin Bieber.
Wolf will be singing songs from her upcoming album Renegadeat her performances across India.
