What better way to relax than be able to soak up the sun, hit the beaches, ride the waves, chill in the shacks and dance under the stars when the sun goes down? I'm an avid photographer and Goa gives me those shutterbug-worthy pictures.

I'm also an adventure sports fanatic, so Goa is ideal for maxing up the speed on the jet ski or being carried away by the wings on a parasail.

Not many people have the patience to drive down to Goa but I love taking the road there. The Konkan coastline, with its coconut trees, rising cliffs and plateaus and the surge of the ocean at the brink of every turn is a fantastic, exhilarating drive.

I usually stay at Fort Aguada as it has one of the best beaches for adventure sports and is also pretty close to Anjuna, Baga and Vagator. After my adrenaline rush, I head to virgin beaches like Bambolim, where the beach is carpeted with broken mother-of-pearl and other shells. Apart from Baga and Vagator, Arambol is a lesser-known beach party destination. There's also a hot spring near the main beach that runs into a freshwater lake.
