Bestselling author of Fifty Shades of Grey, EL James, announced that she would release a new version of her blockbuster novel that will be written from Christian Grey’s perspective. The new book will be titled, Grey, and will be published on June 18, the date that fans of the cult novel will recall as Grey’s birthday.

In her announcement, James wrote, “This book is dedicated to those readers who asked…and asked… and asked... and asked for this.” The release added, “Christian is a complex character, and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past.
